About Me
I was born in Austin, Texas, and as a baby, I was adopted and brought to North Dakota. From then on, I was raised in Hettinger, North Dakota, and grew up with four other siblings. Being the youngest (AND A TWIN), I had to love to share everything and be part of a big family. My oldest brother began sports when I was a toddler and I wanted nothing more to be just like him. My other two older brothers were standout athletes as soon as they begin sports as well. As soon as I can remember, I was dribbling a basketball and it was the first sport I fell in love with. I wanted to be like my brothers, so I practiced as hard as they did and earned a Varsity spot in Basketball as an 8th grader. My freshman year, I lettered in Volleyball and Track as well. I ended my high school career as a Basketball Regional Champion, 4th Place State Finish, 1,000 point Club and Senior Athlete in basketball. This propelled me into my collegiate career until I tore my ACL, MCL, lateral and medial meniscus. I then realized how sports are more than a game and how much I could impact people off the court.

My favorite moments started when I began playing sports. I instantly fell in love and never looked back. I still love to be part of a team and I want to be involved in any way that I can. After I tore my knee, I knew I could never give up the passion I had. Today, I am eager to get into the athletic communication world and begin a career.
